Affordable and sustainable mobility is crucial for consumers

As the first agreements on the “Fit for 55” Package proposals have been reached, the path towards achieving climate neutrality becomes clearer, but questions and concerns continue to emerge. Parallel to the legislative processes, reality imposes itself – with energy costs and inflation rates casting dark clouds over the most vulnerable in our societies.

The FIA European Bureau (EB) has consistently supported the EU’s goal to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Our members have been actively involved in the debates, commissioned independent research, engaged dialogue with stakeholders, and developed projects to help consumers navigate the transition. Throughout this process, we have shown how ready European mobility clubs are to embrace change; and we remain positive that it is possible to reconcile decarbonisation with preserving mobility for all.(...)
